I currently lead the IM Support Centre at Anglo American as an OT Specialist: Operations Centre, overseeing Service Desk operations, Monitoring, and Observability. My role focuses on ensuring seamless support, system reliability, and actionable insights that drive operational success.
My career has been defined by a commitment to bridging the gap between network infrastructure, automation, and software development. From managing and securing high-performance networks to developing scalable, automated solutions, I thrive at the intersection of technology and innovation. Proficient in technologies like ISE, Firepower, DNAC, and wireless systems, I also leverage programming expertise in Python and JavaScript to enhance workflows, integrate systems, and optimize performance.
With a focus on first principles thinking, I excel in solving complex challenges with practical, forward-looking solutions. Whether it’s leading a team, optimizing network operations, or implementing robust observability frameworks, I bring precision and creativity to every project.
Outside of work, I’m dedicated to continuous learning, mentoring aspiring professionals, and exploring new technologies. When it’s time to unwind, you’ll often find me enjoying carp fishing.
